CEO Brian Casey says, “the sky is the limit” with Ridgeline and AI.

Morning reconciliation requires attention to detail, deep system knowledge, and an understanding of how cause and effect moves through a book of business. At a firm where everyone wears several hats, that operational work can take time away from client conversations. “It’s exactly the kind of process that is ripe for artificial intelligence to take over the mundane parts and leave us to work on the tricky parts,” says Craig Goryl, partner and chief investment officer at Cabot.
Earlier this year, Cabot Wealth Management went live on Ridgeline Intelligent Outcomes, a managed services offering where Ridgeline takes on work, such as reconciliation, for customers within their tenant. “Ridgeline has a team that can start doing reconciliation a lot sooner than somebody here on the East Coast can do it,” says Sonia Ernst, managing partner, sales and operations. “We’re coming in in the morning and everything’s all set to go.”

With that work handled before the day begins, the teams at Cabot can focus their judgment on other work and respond to client questions with the information they need, rather than spending the first part of the day assembling it.
“Software is not our business. Our clients are our business. Ridgeline is working behind the scenes to allow us to help our clients, essentially.” Sonia Ernst, Managing Partner, Sales and Operations, Cabot Wealth Management
But the value of the partnership extends far beyond reconciliation. Ridgeline Intelligence enables every team at the firm to use native AI directly in the platform alongside their data and workflows. “It was clear that AI was going to be a major facet of the wealth management industry going forward,” says Greg Stevens, managing partner, president, and chief compliance officer. “Having that AI component made us realize that Ridgeline was the partner we needed.”

Alex Castrichini, senior wealth advisor, no longer has to spend three to four hours each week preparing presentations, pulling together reports, and entering data manually. “That’s time back in my day to talk with my clients, spend more time doing what I love to do, and doing what’s most important for the firm,” he says.
Tyler Swaim, partner and senior wealth advisor, uses Ridgeline Assistant to quickly surface information while he is on calls with clients. And with client data and context in the same system where trading happens, Pat Creanhan, partner and fixed-income portfolio manager, no longer has to hunt through systems to find the information he needs to move quickly and confidently.
Ridgeline will enable Cabot to efficiently scale as its business becomes more complex. “We can manage more money, more accounts, and even work around more restrictions or account quirks now that we’ve got a platform that is faster and more powerful than we had before,” says Craig.

While Cabot wants to grow, Craig and the team are not willing to sacrifice client experience. “It’s very much a mix of how can we keep this business human, but also be as efficient as possible so we can serve our clients as best as possible,” says Craig. With Ridgeline, Cabot has more room to grow while preserving what makes the business personal.
Ridgeline is the AI-native investment management platform built on the idea that human talent is too valuable to do the work that technology could handle. With over $750B in assets committed to the platform, Ridgeline unifies the front, middle, and back office on a single, real-time platform so routine work happens quietly in the background. Ridgeline has teams in New York, the Bay Area, Reno, and Dublin, and has been recognized by Forbes as a "Best Startup Employer," by Global Financial Market Review for "Best Use of AI in Finance," and by The Software Report as a "Top 100 Software Company."
