Ridgeline uses the information we collect about you to provide you with Ridgeline websites, services, and support. For example, if you provide information to us in a “Contact Us” form, we will use your information to respond to the request and communicate with you.
Ridgeline uses your information for event planning and management, including registration, billing, and ways to connect with other event attendees, or to contact you further about relevant products and services. Any information you provide about emergency contacts or dietary preferences would be used for your safety and health purposes.
We may use the contact information we collect from you and information about your activity on our websites to send you information we believe may be of interest to you, such as product announcements, newsletters, educational materials, details on upcoming events, and other marketing communications. We may also use it to send administrative information, such as notices related to products, services, or policy changes.
We use the information we collect to understand how our websites and services are being used and to make improvements. For example, we may use responses posted or comments on our blog to enrich the content or help guide future enhancements to our website, products, and services.
Your information also may be used to personalize your experience on our websites. Ridgeline or our services providers may use website tracking technologies to display content that is tailored to your interests and to present advertising on other sites. For more information on these technologies see the section “Tracking Technologies and Targeted Advertising”.

How We Share Information Collected
Ridgeline may share information with Ridgeline affiliates and third-party service providers that process personal information as data processors on behalf of Ridgeline to provide certain services, including services such as website hosting, website optimization and A/B testing (including through Webflow Optimize, powered by Intellimize), data analysis, information technology and related infrastructure provision, customer service, email delivery, auditing, and other services. As a result, your personal information may be collected, used, processed, stored or disclosed in the United States of America, Canada, Ireland, and/or European Economic Area. In these circumstances, the governments, courts, law enforcement, national security, or regulatory agencies of such other jurisdictions may be able to obtain access to your personal information through the laws of that jurisdiction.
We may also share information with third parties with whom you instruct Ridgeline to share your personal information; law enforcement, other government entities, or authorized third parties.
Ridgeline may offer the following solely or jointly with third parties or partners: webinars, events, whitepaper downloads, or other services related to Ridgeline offerings or services. We may share your contact information and interests in these offerings or services with these approved third parties to communicate with you about Ridgeline.
When you attend an event (either sponsored by Ridgeline or one where Ridgeline is a participating vendor) and have your badge scanned, your information may be shared with Ridgeline, as well as with any partner or third party participating in that event, and potentially with the entity sponsoring your attendance at the event.
For example, if your badge is scanned as you attend a session at a Ridgeline-sponsored conference, Ridgeline and any co-presenters could have access to that information to understand who was in attendance and potentially follow up with you on relevant products or services. If you do not want your information shared with Ridgeline or partners in this manner, do not have your badge scanned. If your badged is scanned by a partner or a third party at an event, your information will be governed by that party’s privacy statement.
Ridgeline may disclose information if we have a good faith belief that such disclosure is required to comply with applicable law or to respond to a valid legal process, protect and defend our rights or property, protect your or other third parties’ safety, and/or act to protect the interests of our users or others.
We do not sell, rent, or trade information collected through our websites with third parties for their promotional purposes.
If Ridgeline goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personal information may be among the assets transferred, provided that the relevant third party is bound by appropriate agreements or obligations and required to use or disclose your personal information in a manner consistent with the use and disclosure provisions of this Privacy Statement, unless you consent otherwise.
Tracking Technologies and Targeted Advertising
Tracking Technologies. When you visit Ridgeline’s website, we may observe your activities, interactions, preferences, transactional information, and other computer and connection information relating to your use of our websites and our services.
We or our service providers may use first and third-party cookies and similar tracking technologies such as web beacons, HTML5 Local Storage, local shared objects, tags, and scripts on our websites and in email communications. These technologies collect information about you when you interact with our website, including information about your browsing behavior and user experience. They also allow us to collect such information as browser type, time spent on the website, pages visited, language preferences, unique identifiers, content you view, click on, or share, screen actions, and other traffic data.
We and our service providers use this information to understand your interests, analyze web traffic, combat fraud, provide interest-based advertising, improve our products and services as further described above in the Use section, and tailor content to your preferences. We also use the information for security purposes, to power the interactive features of our website, facilitate navigation, display information more effectively, and measure the success of our marketing campaigns. We gather statistical information about use of the website in order to continually improve and develop its performance, design, and functionality, help keep it free of bugs or errors, understand how it is used, and assist us with resolving questions regarding the website.
In messages we send (including email messages), we may use these technologies to track the actions of website users (and email recipients) and track the effectiveness of our messages and other communications. These technologies further allow us to select which of our advertisements or offers are most likely to appeal to you and display them while you are on the website. We may also use tracking technologies in online advertising to track responses to our ads.
If you do not want information collected through the use of these technologies, most browsers allow you to automatically decline these technologies or be given the choice of declining or accepting a particular technology (or technologies) from a particular website. You may also wish to refer to http://www.allaboutcookies.org/manage-cookies/index.html. If, however, you do not accept tracking technologies, you may experience some inconvenience in your use of the website. For details around our cookies listing, please go here.
Do Not Track. While Ridgeline attempts to honor do not track (“DNT”) instructions we receive from a Visitor’s browser, we cannot guarantee that Ridgeline will always respond to such signals, in part, because of the lack of common industry standards for DNT technology. We continue to monitor developments in DNT technology and stay apprised of DNT industry standards as they evolve.
Analytics. We engage third-party analytics services, which use tracking technologies to collect and analyze information about use of the website and report on activities and trends. These services also collect information regarding the use of other websites, apps, and online resources. One of our analytics service providers is Google. You can learn about Google’s practices by going to www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/ and exercise the opt-out provided by Google by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Targeted Advertising. We use third-party advertising companies to serve advertisements regarding goods and services that may be of interest to you when you access and use the website and other websites or online services. You may receive advertisements based on information relating to your access to and use of the website and other websites or online services on any of your devices, as well as on information received from third parties. These companies place or recognize a unique tracking technology on your browser. They also use tracking technologies, along with information they collect about your online use, to recognize you across the devices you use, such as a mobile phone and a laptop.
Website Optimization Technologies. Ridgeline uses a website optimization and personalization service called Webflow Optimize, which is powered by Intellimize (together, “Webflow Optimize”). When you visit ridgeline.ai, Webflow Optimize loads as part of the standard page loading process, and your browser initiates network connections to Webflow and Intellimize servers. As part of this process, standard network-level information, including your IP address and browser information (such as browser type and operating system), is transmitted to Webflow and Intellimize. This transmission occurs as part of page loading and before you interact with our cookie consent banner.
Webflow Optimize is used to conduct A/B testing, collect aggregated website usage statistics, and improve and personalize website content and appearance. No cookies, unique visitor identifiers, or behavioral tracking are created or activated before you provide consent through our consent management platform. Features that personalize content based on your behavior are only activated after you provide consent.
Webflow and Intellimize receive your IP address and browser information as service providers acting on Ridgeline’s behalf. They are not permitted to use this information for their own independent purposes.
If you do not wish to have your information collected through Webflow Optimize, you may adjust your preferences through our cookie consent settings [link to OneTrust/cookie settings page].
If you would like more information about this practice, and to learn how to opt out of it in desktop and mobile browsers on the particular device on which you are accessing this Privacy Policy, please visit http://optout.aboutads.info/#/ and http://optout.networkadvertising.org/#/.
Retention
We will retain your personal information if we have a business need to do so or for as long as is needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Statement, unless a longer retention period is required by law (for example, to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
Security
Ridgeline maintains appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information obtained through our websites and in connection with communication from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, and access. Ridgeline personnel and service providers with access to personal information collected through our websites or other means are required to keep such information confidential and secure.
Users of our sites are responsible for maintaining the security of any password, user ID, or other form of authentication involved in obtaining access to password-protected or secure areas of any Ridgeline website or link to websites that are not owned or controlled by Ridgeline.

We will respond to such requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with the requirements of applicable data protection laws.
